New country, new rituals (and the worst..less bank holidays!)

So fireworks to celebrate the historical establishment of the national religion…ok.
So wheat-bacony delicatessen…fine.
But what about this? Days to remember…so far it’s understandable. But “Poignant reminder of the gallantry of our servicemen and women, both past and present” what about the ‘present’? What if you are a hardcore believer in peace and you strongly disagree with your country commitment overseas?
